I'm in love with the Weehouse. For those of you who haven't heard of modern prefab houses yet, they're small, modern houses that are built offsite and then transported and "installed" on site. This idea has been around for a while, but only recently did architects and designers wake up and realize these houses can look super modern and chic without raising the price. I'm in love with Alchemy Architects, the company that created the Weehouse. Depending on the size, Weehouses range from about $79,000-$250,000+, which makes them incredibly affordable, and they are CUTE. They're perfect for putting in the countryside, the woods, or the city - I plan on putting my Weehouse in the middle of a vineyard someday. It's the perfect combo of modern meets rugged that I absolutely love. I want to buy a few acres in northern CA, plant a few grapes, and produce my own wine. I'll live in my Weehouse and host wine tastings on the weekends. Below are some beautiful Weehouses from around the country - my favorite, just below, is one in Texas that is to die for.
