Shower Exposure

A few months ago I posted about my love for outdoor showers (click here to read). I've been so in love ever since my first trip to Big Sur. There is NOTHING better than being naked and showering outdoors. Just you, and the birds and the bees. My ultimate dream is to have a house with the master bedroom on the 1st floor and a secluded little enclave right outside a pair of glass doors. I imagine my own little showering paradise. I've seen so many style I love, from the uber sleek and modern to the ruggedly refined.

Outdoor showers aren't the easiest things to do if you live in a city, though. Outdoor showers require an actual backyard or more than two feet between you and your nearest neighbor. There are still great ways to arrange your bathroom to make it feel a little more exposed - free standing tubs, beautiful basin sinks, and open bookcases as cabinets will help do the trick. Here are some of my favorite looks below (including one secluded outdoor shower on the side of the house - with a fence tall enough and not-so-modest neighbors, you could probably make it work... just find out when they're most likely to be away!)
