Rustic Refined Budget Finds

Wednesday, July 25, 2012

I've been away from home for a while, so I was happy to tear through a couple untouched catalogs when I finally got settled back in. Usually I just glance at CB2 and West Elm to look for a few odds and ends, but this time I actually stopped to look a little closer - rustic refined was everywhere! Apparently everyone is hip to my favorite look for the fall, and even the cheaper interior stores are jumping on the bandwagon. For you my favorite readers, I pulled a few of my favorite finds out right now, all for $699 or less. Rustic refined can definitely be done on a budget - the key is all in finding the right materials. Look for wood that is a little rough or worn looking (reclaimed wood like the West Elm dresser on the far right is even better), industrial, angular metal tables and stools, and battered leather in rich browns and tans. Paired with exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, and lofty ceilings? Rustic heaven.
