Boardwalk Empire came back this weekend, and it got me in the mood for a little 1920's inspired drinking. Two prohibition themed cocktails caught my eye, "Nucky's Gin Fizz" and "The Cherry Bourbon" below, both from (of all places) Forbes. Booze and champagne? These prohibition guys really knew how to make a McQueen style cocktail. I think I'll throw on a fur coat, long dress, and some fabulous jewelry and mix up one (or a few) of these beauties. Better yet, maybe a prohibition themed party is in my near future...??
