We had the most amazing first night on Nantucket. We let the air out of our tires (sounds weird, but it's necessary for driving on the beach) and welcomed our first sunset of the year with our toes in the sand. I love this island more than words; it is absolutely magical. The first time I arrived on Nantucket soil 7 years ago, I knew I would always have a connection to this place. The people are relaxed, the food is mouth wateringly good, the architecture will make you weak in the knees, and the sandy shores will make you want to quit your normal life and hideout here forever. I want to grow old on this island watching the sunset and eating clam chowder... a girl can dream!
