Happy Halloween!

National Candy Day is finally here, and I flew back today just to take my kids trick or treating. My biggest beef with Halloween is all the LA parents who try to give out healthy stuff... if I was a kid and got a toothbrush in my Halloween bag, I'd throw it on the ground and stomp on it right in front of the do-gooders who tried to give it to me. Halloween is the one day out of the year that kids are supposed to eat candy, can't we just leave it that way?? If you constantly tell kids they can't have something, they're probably just going to want it that much more. And If you deny them candy on Halloween of all days, that's just a big, glaring f-you. As parents we can only hope our kids eat so much candy that they vomit, and the next time they'll remember how terrible their last candy experience was and skip it of their own free will. So here's to all the candy you can possibly eat on the one day that it's totally acceptable, and hell, expected. Happy Halloween!!
