The Emmy Awards were last night in LA and usually I'd have a thing or two to say about the fashion (there were more than a handful of women who looked like they got dressed in the dark) - but this year there is something much more important I want to talk about: HOW did Downton Abbey not win like ANYTHING it was nominated for?!  I love that stupid show, the drama is deliciously juicy and the costumes are amazing. Thank GOD for Maggie Smith, the one winner - that woman is damn near 80 years old and still going strong. I'm disgusted my show lost almost everything else to the new series Homeland, how lame is that? I'm most upset over Mr. Bates (Brendan Coyle) losing... he was completely robbed. #freemrbates!!!
