Bacon Shortage?

Earlier this week, some British guys from a "pig group" in the UK announced that we're headed for an unavoidable global bacon shortage, which obviously sent me into a terrified panic . A world without bacon is pretty much my own personal version of hell. I'm a firm believer that there is no personal crisis that CAN'T be solved with a little bacon (well, maybe not solved, but it does make me feel a whole hell of a lot better). Now I'm reading that the bacon shortage is a load of bull, but what to believe? Stop jerking me around people, this is life altering stuff we're talking here!! I think I might stock up on my beloved bacon now, just in case...
